Many Americans have worked hard for the “American Dream” of being a homeowner, only to have it stripped away by greedy banks who value profit over people’s basic needs. Now, because of the foreclosure crisis caused by Wall Street’s lies and greed, millions of homeowners have lost their homes, and today 1 in 4 homeowners is underwater on their mortgage.
We pledge that until the banks do their part to help homeowners by negotiating with the them to save their home instead of foreclosing,
WE WILL:
- support homeowners resisting wrongful foreclosure evictions.
- resist any attempt by the bank to take a home back.
- If they come to foreclose, we will not go.
